Visual Studio 2010 Installation
The Visual Studio installation files are stored at the following location:
\\ni-filedat1-srv\exchange\AUTOMATION_R&D\SOFTWARE_ENGINEERING\Install\Machine_software\VisualStudio2010\
Note
If you don’t have access to the folder above and you are not able to get the used Visual Studio version, please consult your group leader.
Note
Visual Studio should be installed with default settings at the default location. After finishing the installation it’s required to install all actual service packs for the Visual studio version. Don’t forget to check and setup the environment variables.
Run installation file:
\\ni-filedat1-srv\exchange\AUTOMATION_R&D\SOFTWARE_ENGINEERING\Install\Machine_software\VisualStudio2010\VS2010_Professional\autorun.exe
After the installation, the following environment variables should be added automatically to the system. If they do not appear, add them manually to the system. The upper and lower case of spelling is important.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE
32-bit

Check path in your device before insert and convert to short path versions!

The Visual Studio installation files are stored at the following location:
\\ni-filedat1-srv\exchange\AUTOMATION_R&D\SOFTWARE_ENGINEERING\Install\Machine_software\VisualStudio2008\
Note
If you don’t have access to the folder above and you are not able to get the used Visual Studio version, please consult your group leader.
Warning
The mentioned environment variables below should not be added together with the Visual Studio 2010 environment variables, because otherwise it’s not clear which compiler is used when compiling from command line toolsets (e.g. Rational Rose RealTime). Only the path variables of one development environment should be present.
